The family

Unus pro quolibet foco

The family is the main core of the Regole society.
The community, composed by the original families, has the right of ownership over forests and pastures.
The families of the Regolieri enjoy grazing rights, firewood cutting rights and are entitled to receive timber in accordance with the family needs.
The Regolieri must participate to preserving, promoting and developing the common heritage according to principles of solidarity.

Participation in the Regola is hereditary and precluded to foreigners.
Family-heads meet in assembly to manage the collective heritage independently and democratically.

The entitled members are called Consorti (from Latin cum sortis), because they share a common destiny, that is sharing the same natural environment.
