Ciasa de ra Regoles, one of the most important buildings in Cortina d’Ampezzo, is the seat of the Regole d’Ampezzo from 1959 and also the seat of the Mario Rimoldi Modern Art Museum from 1974.
The restoration works started the last spring and they have now finished, so you can admire a new impressive building. The facade is renewed through the charge of colors and the remaking of the Regole crests and of the writing “Ciasa de ra Regoles”. Compared to the previous restoration in 2000, the frescoes now denote a style closer to the Austrian manner, in dialogue with the Comun Vecio, behind the church.
The Museum will be open from August 1st to October 6th, with a renewed setting-up of the permanent collection and two temporary exhibitions.
